Very pleasant walk all around the lake. Nice little lakeside cafe. Swings up the opposite end of the park. Free car parking. Dog friendly park and cafe.

Very nice with pond, boats, swan, ducks and birds and lovely cafe, and a playground for kids with free parking. There's even two small iron bridge which looks amazing...good day out with kids whom had so much fun..

Just love walking over this beautiful park on a cold but bright day listening to the birds and watching the swans and geese in the lake, so peaceful and relaxing. Then stop for coffee and a bite to eat in the cafe on the lake, it's lovely there 😋

The park itself is huge. It has all sorts to do and see and there is regular cricket during the season

This park has been in my life for 60+ years, from childhood through to now, and continues to offer me and the local community so much.
Open green spaces, football pitches, playground areas, boating lake with cafe, swimming pool and leisure centre and it houses the charity Mind.
What's not to like, so it gets a very highly recommended 👍 from me

"Attended a bonfire night event with fireworks and a funfair. While the entertainment was enjoyable, the organisation around the exit process left much to be desired. Roadworks in the area, including a closed lane, caused significant delays, with it taking over an hour to exit the car park. It's unclear what the council was expecting when approving a large, free public event without properly addressing traffic management. Better planning and coordination for next year would be greatly appreciated to avoid frustration and reduce the potential for aggressive behaviour among attendees."
